DOCUMENTATION for SLOW CONTROL

The slow control system controls/monitors the High Voltage, Temperature, and MWPC gas flow.


NEW SLOW CONTROL SYSTEM (as of summer 2007)
The temperature sensors are supplied with +6V from a power supply in a CAMAC crate.
This +6V is brought to the "blue box" which ties one pin of each channel to +6V.
The ground of the power supply is brought to the SCS-2000 to be sure they have a
common ground. The other pin of each channel goes to a current input on the SCS-2000.


The SCS-2000 has 5 cards inside of it.
Slots P0, P1, and P2 have current input cards.
Slot  P4 has a voltage output card.
Slot  P5 has a voltage input card.
Slots P3, P6, and P7 are empty.
